GT Racing part 18A is a pair of fiberglass race doors for 1965–1998 Porsche 911 models, through the 993. The hand-laid panels are vacuum-bagged with a foam-core inner structure. Average weight is 6 lb per door.
Open inside, no window-frame provision
The open inner design leaves room for roll-cage door bars. These doors have no provision for window frames. For a door that accepts a stock window frame, compare the 911R-style doors.
Hinges are separate
Door hinges are not included. See the GT Racing part 20 hinge pair, and plan the hinges, latches and door-bar arrangement with your race-car builder.
Application notes
Open-backed race-door pair for the 1965–1998 911 platform. There is no provision for window frames; hinges are separate.
