GT Racing part 18 combines an open inner door design with provision for the stock window frame. These 911R-style doors fit 1965–1998 Porsche 911 models, through the 993. Hand-laid fiberglass surrounds a foam inner structure; average weight is 8–9 lb per door.

Plan the hinge and latch setup

Top door hinges are not included. The supplier points to part 20 door hinges and part 20B body hinges, and recommends its separate 20A door latch.

Keeping a window frame?

These doors accept the stock frame. The lighter 18A race doors have no window-frame provision, so the two designs serve different builds.
