911 Hood Conversion Long/Short 65-'73$ 893.00 USD
The early long-hood look, with an inner frame made for the later car's latch. GT Racing part 21SL is designed for Porsche 911 backdates using the existing 1974–1998 hood-latch mechanism, including 993-based projects.
Construction and mounting
1965–1973-style outer profile with a short-hood inner brace.
Vacuum-bagged, multi-layer composite skin with a foam core.
Reinforced inner frame bonded to the outer skin.
Stock hinge mounting hardware and the later stock latch mounting location.
GT Racing lists compatibility with its 27, 28, and 29 front-fender families. Match the rest of the front bodywork to the early profile; the hood alone is not a complete backdate conversion.

The hood alone does not complete the conversion; surrounding front panels must match the long-hood profile.
993 use is an explicitly documented conversion application, not a stock 993 replacement.
